Hello All!

I wanted to take some time to introduce myself to you. I have been working as a speech-language pathologist for a little over 11 years now. I enjoy every aspect of being a speech-language pathologist. I received my bachelors of marketing in 1996 from Texas Tech University. I worked in sales for 9 years before deciding to continue my education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and graduated with my masters of science in communication sciences and disorders in 2008. I have worked in the school setting for the past 10 years. This is my 1st year to work with Mustang Public Schools. Prior to working in Mustang I worked in Montgomery, TX just north of Houston, TX for 4 years and in Magnolia, TX for 6 years. My first year as a speech-language pathologist was spent working in a nonprofit facility for adults who have sustained a brain injury in Lubbock, TX. 

As you probably noticed I have a deep love for Texas Tech University. It is not only where I spent a total of 9 years of my life learning and growing into who I am today, but where I made lasting friendships and met my husband of 10 years. We have 2 wonderful children. Son, Luke, who is 8 years old and a daughter, Lyla, who is 6 years old. We also have a sweet dog named Scarlett.

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing games, watching movies/TV and reading. I look forward to getting to know all of you this year!
