Concerning P-EBT cards from DHS:
A recent letter released by DHS informs parents who believe they should be getting a P-EBT card for their child, to call the school.
DHS told us that they re-loaded money on last year’s cards. So if your child received a card last year, and you still have last year’s card, check the balance. If you threw away the card, you will need to contact DHS for a new one.
We also found out that they could still be mailing out cards until 10/15/21, so you might wait until after that date to start making calls.
We will be glad to assist in any way possible, but basically all we can tell you is what your child’s free/reduced status currently is. We do not know the status of P-EBT cards. P-EBT FAQs for Families_v2
